u could have anticipated it..

my lousy results :(

 

one glance through my results was enough to dealt me the heavy blow..

i was utterly disappointed..

but somehow, its funny how i'd gotten over it (not entirely though) quite soon..

probably cos i know that i deserve the ugly grades..

well i think i gave my all for the papers.. but maybe for the projects, i didn't put in my best effort..

and i know it..

 

the most shocking was my FM grade.. was really thankful that i've gotten that grade.. thankfully it didn't make things worse...

cos i know i may even have problems passing the paper.. so u could have easily guessed how tough the paper was, and ultimately, how helpful the moderation was! no kidding, serious.

fortunately im still able to keep to the 'no Cs grade' policy that i've set for myself.

yes, the lowest i could go is a B, and that's that. no room for negotiation!!!

 

i promised myself and my parents i would work harder next sem and for the next 2 years, to secure better grades.

i dont want to feel disappointment again.

we finally tried Popeyes (yes damn suaku i knowww) at T3!

my sis told me the one at T1 is nicer and cheaper! arghh, nvm, now we know..

i love the mashed potatoooooo! SO SUPER NICE LA!

reminded me of Indulgence's... which is prolly the only satisfiable food there. =X

the chicken were fab! i think it totally outwin KFC's! plus it is less oily!!!!

talk about eating healthy yea? :)

omg how i wish they have more outlets at town areas cos the one at spore flyer is totally inaccessible, so indifferent to the one at Changi i think.

have more in town areas and i bet bei will turn to Popeyes more than he would even think about KFC :D

 

after our hearty meal, it was to some walking and photo-taking..

oh yah, we went to this perfume shop and bei was being a clown la!!!!

bei and i played the 'Trust me' game.. hahahah so fun la!

it started off like this...

bei was tired, so he put his right hand over my shoulders and said he'll close his eyes and i'll lead him..

after awhile, bei said we should change roles and i'll be the one closing my eyes instead..

wah i totally trust him lor! even though i was abit scared when we're nearing the escalators and steps, i held onto him tightly and i believed he'd lead me well! hahaha!

then i got so high and insisted that we change roles again!

bei was so scared la when he's closing his eyes.. i think i trusted him more than he trusted me, WAHAHAHHA!

cos when we're nearing the escalators, he'll take damn small steps and walk bit by bit...

and then! when im leading him to walk down the steps, he played cheat lor! he stuck out his leg and 'feel' the steps!

baobao, how can like that?!!!! hahahahha!

but i think partially it's cos i never lead him well la, hahaha!

i rmb once, we're going to step out of the escalator, then i went "ok, 1 2 3 GO!"

but bei stepped out on the count of '3' instead of 'GO!' LOL!

baby came to my hse and watched tv together :)

i re-watched little nyonya with him hahaha!

that boy said he likes the show!

then after it ended, he got so tired and refused to head home..

so i watched YLBFB and told him he had to go home after an hour when my show finishes..

he agreed and hugged my right arm to sleep.. LOL, my cutie boyy :)

 

today we went to have chicken rice! so long since we last ate that yummy chicken rice!

bei missed the coffeeshop's lemon tea as well! haha!

 

went to return the library books which bei borrowed..

before we left the library, he was looking at a section and i got to that he's looking for cooking books. LOL!

he said "see got those cooking recipe books anot then you can borrow and cook nice nice meals for me ma".

haha my ke lian boy.. i admit im not a fab gf la, as compared to those who would cook delicious meals for their boyf..

i guess i'm just not a kitchen girl? lol!

these 3.5 years we've been together, i've only cooked him a meal like once? as in, maggie mee not counted la.. lol!

think i should go learn baking from dom and give him a surprise one day! hahaha!

i told him "you very ke lian hor? baobao nv cook for you de.."

but he was a good boy la.. i think he's those type who's very contented with what he has..

"nvm la.. got ma.. that time you cook for me the smiley meal :) next time when we marry then you must cook alot of nice food for me.. "

im a lucky girl cos i dont need to win my boy over with any cooking :)))

 

yday baby told me once, he slept without any shirt on in his army bunk.. and once, he hugged his towel to sleep..

ended up got a chide from me. LOL.

"huh.. but i want to hug you to sleep leh, can ma baobao?"

he's very quick-witted de.. everytime when im going to scold him and he knows, he'll come out w smth sweet. haha!

then today, he told me,

"baobao, i want to bring you into the army with me, so that i can hug you to sleep at night"

me: haha... how can?

bei: can ahh.. i bring a luggage in then you hide inside..

HAHAHAHHA!

 

had dinner at bei's house today.. his mom's cooking is yum yum yummy :)

helped him to prepare (not cook) his dinner, and also packed his bag for him.. so good right.. =X

as usual, he'll lament on the fact that he doesn't want to book in... and will get abit upset when time's nearing..

being a good boyf, he opted to walk to the mrt station (instead of taking the bus which is a faster alternative) just so he could see me home safely..

thank you baby.. really appreciate it.. you make me feel very very secured :)

 

results are going to be released in less than 30 min, and bei knew i was very worried..

bei: baobao, dont worry ok? you sure can do well de..

me: no.. i sure do very badly one.. :(

bei: wont ok? you so hardworking.. you sure can do well... baobao will reward you if you score well ok? even if you didn't, baobao will also reward you.. you deserve a reward ma... dont worry so much baby.. no matter what, baobao will always encourage you de ma.. baobao will always love you and be right by your side de :)

just called baby and chatted w him for about 45 min on the phone :)

it seems like we can do this longer now that he's in sispec.. hopefully this doesn't change in the coming days!

while waiting for me to get bathed and have my dinner, he was revising for his next friday's test... what a good boy of mine :)))

but this Mr Lovely ahh, forgotten to bring his extra batteryyyyy!

fortunately he was able to borrow a cellphone from his friend :D

 

yesterday my baby also waited for me to return his call after i get back from my aunt's house..

apparently he'd waited for about 30 min, and i thought he would have fallen asleep by the time i call..

but no, was so surprised when i heard his 'awaken' voice..

"im waiting for you to call me ma :)"

 

but i would always ask him to go sleep when it's around 11pm..

dont want him to be sleep deprived and end up less energetic on the next day.. hee...

let you guys in on a secret.. my boy's always the last to get up in the morning. LOL =P

 

anyways, baby's meeting me straight at PS tmr! WEEEEEEE!

it's so good to be able to book out in civilian clothing!!!!!

cos we can meet up straight and can skip the part on having to go back home and change :)))))

im bringing my boy to have a good 'chicken' meal tmr, together w bestie and guang!

he deserves a reward for being such a wonderful boyf :)

heh, of cos im here to celebrate with her when her beau's not around :)

and she said next year, she's going to celebrate my 21st with me, on the actual day, cos it falls on a weekday!

we had Superdog for lunch and then went shopping right after....

the feeling of shopping and getting beautiful apparels is superrr shiok, but the depletion of the moolahs is abit =(

i suppose that's a reasonable trade-off, yea?

brought bestie to eat the famous lavender bar chor mee! SO DELICIOUSSSS! -SLURPS-

afterwhich, headed to Bugis..

shopped, AGAIN!

i think i shld blindfold myself when im out. LOL!

 

got a pair of lovely red shoes (my first pair!) and a pretty pretty sooo super pretty white top over at Giordano at 40% cheaper! damn good deal! i so love pretty white tops! :))

 

then it was to MS to meet up w our lovely boys, who have reached since 1 hour+ earlier to put us on Yuki Yaki's waiting list..

heh so miss my naughty boy though it's only 1 day plus of not seeing him!

after waiting for super long, we finally entered YY..

not a very good first impression when the lady said they called us (on bei's hp) but we nv ans.. then the next min say what someone called and cancelled our booking.

pls decide on ur version of lies! 

LIKE DUH!

fyi, we didn't receive any call at all lor!

i still asked bei to hold his hp on his hand in case he couldn't feel the vibration when they call!

to think they made me scold my boy for NOTHING when he unknowingly slipped the hp into his pocket and i told him off!

in the wrong still dare to qn us and give the stupid blur look (which was obviously feigned!).

OMG, POOR STANDARD!

 

ok that's besides the point...

the food was, initially yummy.. cos i presumed all of us were on the brink of starvation when we finally get to have our dinner at 915pm!

(yes their mistake made us waited for like super long, if not i think we could've filled our stomachs much earlier!)

as the freshness died down, everything seems normal..

well i love their tako balls though!

 

even though we completely missed out on one WHOLE SECTION OF FOOD (mushrooms, tofu, hotdogs, and smth which has cheese in it!!!!!!!! and more!!!!!!!), i think the variety is not considered alot if we were to take them into consideration...

omg, we're so blur right?!!

it's not missing out on 1 or 2 items leh, it's THE WHOLE SECTION!

i dont know why we'd let it happen! HAHAHA! SUPER BLUR LA!

 

the cooking was kinda fun though.. DIY can be so interesting at times..

realised i got full damn quickly.. think cos of the soup and sprite that i drank, and the many tako balls i'd consumed.

i am so not suited for buffet style lo!

rmb-ed once my daddy said bring me go eat buffet is waste money one.. LOL! so true!

 

the highlight of the dinner was probably the DIY ice-cream part, cos none of us have tried that before..

after waiting for very long, we realised the thing wasn't switched on!!!!! hahahah!

 

so to pass time, we have to camwhore!

we tried green tea, rasberry, yam, vanilla and cappucino flavours..

no more chocolate and peppermint!

(in the end when we were leaving the place, i realised they lied lor! cos the 'fridge' was filled with the choco and peppermint ones! really is bad service!)

HOHOHO! MERRY XMAS!

it's bei and my FOURTH XMAS TOGETHER!!!!!

each and every xmas had and will continue to be memorable ones :)

thankfully we still have a long day with each other cos bei only needs to book in at 10pm!

 

movie tickets were selling fast, and we decided we shouldn't spend money on movies we dont feel like watching..

so we headed for our yummylicious lunch straight,

at Kenny's! :)

bei went to take passport size photos and i forget to tell him to take more, cos i want to keep one for myself :(

anyways, it was a wonderful xmas lunch together :)

we finished our meal after about an hour, but continued chatting until it was like close to 5pm!

well, since bei's in army, our topics heavily revolved around his NS life, and some other army info..

like i'd said in the past, i like to hear all these from bei.. cos as a woman, i will never be able to go through what our men have gone through.. so i can only imagine and gain an understanding through all these talks!

it had been so many days of 'OUT-OF-HOUSE' for me for the past week that i really cherish a day at home, like today.
can you imagine wad time i woke up at?!

FREAKING 3PM CAN!!!!!!!!!
walao, like a pig la!!!!!

oh, i set my alarm the previous night at 545am, to wake up my baby boy..
cos im afraid he'll report late on his first day. LOL!
as expected, he was really still in lala land when i called him!! hahaha!

baby's so sweet... he msged me at 3.08pm,
"baobao miss u lots. :)"

i was so happy upon receiving his msg, cos i know it's not very often where he'll have the opportunity to msg me in the middle of the day!
so as quickly as i could, my fingers ran around my hp keypad and replied in the fastest way possible...
thinking that 'i must be fast enough so that bei can still reply me...''
but it was hours later before i received bei's reply,
"i just now go toilet sms u ma.." bla bla bla
hahahha my sweetie boy :)))

he told me he's in one of the two most xiong companies, like again :(
and that he still dont know who's his buddy..
oh man, please let bei's buddy be a good one!!!
according to him, his course will end on 14 feb, and he still knows it's valentines day :))))

being the ever so caring bf, he asked if i've had my lunch..
cos he knows that at times, i'll skip my lunch..
but it was so sad to disappoint him, cos i only had a pack of titbits to sustain my hunger..
dont worry baby, i'll not starve myself de... hee.. you too must take good care of yourself, ok? :)

then, i sent out a msg and he havent replied since then..
think he gotta fall in for dinner or smth..
hopefully i get to hear him soon :)

when daddy came back from work, he was surprised to see me at home.
LOL, cos for the past week, i was 'OUT-OF-HOUSE' like what was mentioned above, and since daddy always sleep early, we didn't see each other like ermm, for several days.

10 Dec - bei's POP. then went to his relative's wedding dinner w his family.
11 Dec - our 41st monthsary... was at town, watched The Day The Earth Stood Still, and dined at fav restaurant..
12 Dec - went out with wee and trish to MS, while bei went out w his army friends, to soccer, bball, swimming, and finally bbq-ing at his friend's condo.. but we did meet up at night, for roti prata supper w bestie :)
13 Dec - Haji Lane double date! not forgetting our wonderful Blue Jazz dinner..
14 Dec - ooh finally a stay home day! to pack my cupboard.. and baby was w me the entire day :)
15 Dec - out to town.. watched Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist.. Wheelock's Sakae for dinner..
16 Dec - Partyworld-ed with bestie and lovely boy at town.. had dinner at Sphagetties, and chilled the night away at Bens&Jerry..
17 Dec - i forgot what we did this day! hahaha!
18 Dec - Yes Man-ed at town..
19 Dec - bei had lunch buffet w his army friends, while i walked town alone.. then we met up and headed back home together.. it was a supper night too :)
20 Dec - PS-ed, watched Twilight..
21 Dec - watched IP Man at cwp.. helped bei packed his army bag..

what an interesting 12 days we had right?
each and every single day was spent so fulfillingly and happily..
i wish we could have another round of 12 days block leave.. just give me another 12 days, im not being greedy, am i?
now i can only look forward to all the PHs, and probably bei's next round of break...

a movie we thought wouldn't turn out great bcos of the several opinions we heard from others..

but i think what bei said did make sense..

"those who've read the book wouldn't find it nice, but those who hadn't would think otherwise.."

i guess it's the expectations they brought with themselves into the theatre, and when they realised some many of the parts have been removed, naturally they'll think the movie's bad..

 

 

so yeap, bei and i agreed the movie's great..

it was a unique movie to begin with..

kinda interesting to portray the love between a human and a vampire..

personally, i think the 2 lead, bella and edward, are so cool!

especially edward! reminded me of Death Note's L. LOL!

his yan3 shen2 is totally mesmerising!

and he exudes this really manly feeling... awwwwwww i bet bella feels so protected herself.. hahaha!

i rmb that day we were suppose to watch this movie, but i prefer Yes Man, so bei immediately changed plans and bought tickets for Yes Man instead of this..

he's always accomodating to me la... im sucha meanie.. haha..

but of cos i knew he really wanted to watch this, so we went to catch it before his 12 days of block leave ends..

errmm not too bad luh.. at least it wasn't too bloody and gruesome.. argh i cant handle those scenes well..

wow it has truly been a movie marathon week for bei and i!

a total of 5 movis we'd caught!!!!!!

both of us enjoy movie-ing together :))

 

 

it was a short day out today.. cos we gotta get home early to pack bei's army bag..

oh but before that, we watched The Curse of the Golden Flower together, which was showing on channel U.

hmm, not exactly a good movie.. but we still watched til the end.. -___-"

kinda wasted our time i thought.. lol!

 

 

i helped baby fold his Smart 4 uniform, and put his belt into his pants.. if not tmr he's gonna spend time doing them..

hee glad i was of some help during his packing though bei did most of the job..

so fast the week has come to an end.. and bei's reporting to his new unit tmr..

as always, i wish that everything will go well for him and his friends..

hopefully his buddy is a good buddy, like his previous bmtc one, who is really wonderful.

baby boy was being the kiddish him again.. asking me to stay over at his house..

but i cant.. i've got a fierce mom! hahaha!

bei kept asking me not to go, but when he finally relented that i need to return home, he made do with an additional hour of time which was what i could spare him, at most.

i didn't want him to sleep late initially, cos the later i go home, means the later he'll sleep since he needs to see me back home.

i was holding him close to me and my baby boy fell asleep within minutes..

while i was hugging him, and scraping his back (haha cos alot of those 'bumps').. i have itchy fingers!

not forgetting stroking his botak..

it has only been a week, but his hair grew at an incredible speed, which i dislikeeee!

bei: cos i want you to sayang me ma...

 

 

it was a sweet thing, just holding my lovely boy close to me when he's sleeping..

i was stroking his head and thinking what a beautiful week we've had..

having bei's company daily is really a joy to me.. as always, he's my joker, my naughtie, my silly boy, as well as my Mr Lovely.

i cant help but to think of the oncoming days where we cant spend so much time together like the past few days cos his NS life is going to resume..

tears began to well up and soon later, they cascaded..

sadness overwhelmed my heart, and i was really depressed thinking that i have to be the independent lady whom i detest.. i myself know im not a strong girl..

it has been 2 months, yet im still at square one.

 

 

quickly, i wiped off my tears, and smiled to myself, thinking that i have to cherish the present moments where bei's close to me, sleeping away like a baby boy..

i love watching him sleep!

just like what edward said to bella in Twilight,

the good news is, bei's booking out on wed, and we can spend a lil of xmas together on the 25th :)

soo, it will not be long before i get to see my lovely boy again! yippie!

the reason why im so happy because it's the vocation bei wants to get in most, as well as what i hoped he'll get into most..

cos OCS is 5.5 day week while SISPEC is 5 day week!!

that means, we can still have our lovely weekends togetherrrrrrrrr!

moreover, there're so manyyy field camps and confinement in OCS!

definitely not wanted by us!

oh ya the most impt thing is, no need to be confined for 3 weekssssss! SUPER HAPPY CAN!!!

another good thing is bei's camp is in boon lay area..

today's singing session was awesome!
aside from satisfying the overwhelming craving of mine, it was a great laughing session!!
thanks to silly boy..
his 'mo fang zhou jie lun', out of tune-ness (like so omg!) hahahaha... especially the one where he was off like every alternate word? made me laugh like mad i swear!
and so many more which i cant rmb nowww!!
you must be there to fully comprehend my active laughing self, serious. LOL.

finally found the pair i want over at MS..
but im going to cwp's outlet to consider another pair.. omg...... my money's depleting like mad already!!
HOW? im such an ill-disciplined shopper, argh!

we had plans to dine at Yuki Yaki upon bestie's suggestion.
but were so sad to hear that it'll be full house even up til their closing..
so no choice had to change plan..
settled at Sphagetties, which wasn't a bad choice!
there was a 1-for-1 promo and to top it up, the food were YUMMYLICIOUS!!!!
i guess we were satisfied eaters at the end of the meal!

the 2 of them couldn't get ice-cream off their minds so we headed to Bens&Jerry for another round of enjoyment.
we shared the one w 6 scoops of ice-cream, and a choco-hazelnut cake.
omg so sinful!!!!!!!!
as usual, we stayed to chit chat until they're closed for the day and then we left.

they came over to my house to watch Little Nyonya.
Heh, gd thing to have the recording function eh?
since baby was sleeping soundly on my sofa, bestie decided to let him rest awhile longer and so we watched YLBFB.
so yeap, they just left not long ago..

hello people, say yay to my new cupboard! :)

but i haven finished packing it, cos our built-in wardrobe needs to be taken off and then we have to move the new cupboards around to their new position..

so yeap, still have another round of packing to do, but i suppose it's much easier this time, or so i hope.

 

met up w baby and headed to town..

we're really utilising every day wisely :)

bought movie tickets, and allow me to exclaim "it's wonderful being a student!!!!!!" 'cept those exams and stress of cos!

then went across the road to tabao botak jones as our lunch.

omg, the place there is totally not pleasant for food consumption can?!

so many fleas and bees flying around!

how to enjoy the food in peace?!!!!!

so i told bei that we shall tabao the food and head back to the foodcourt..

ppl, you shld do it too if you want botak jones for lunch in town. haha!

 

yea, decided to watch this movie cos i saw some bloggers' advertorials for this movie and it seems quite good.

i think it's not too bad :)

but kinda too simple a plot, and i dont think it's able to categorise itself as a romance film cos to me, it's not really that romantic.

lucky for me i adore simplicity, so the movie's simplicity doesn't really affect me.

oh ya one more thing, i dislike movies w/o subtitles!!!

it was a day out of enjoyment btw us, as well as a day to look for bestie's pressie! her bday's coming :)))))

but ah! omg!! the thing i bought actually is for her lor! but other than it being a beautiful piece that i have to own one myself, there's another reason to why i eventually decided to keep it for my own use instead of giving it to bestie. lol!

shall go source for another pressie! :)

 

and and, i saw alottttttt of pretty shoes over at C&K!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i want to buy a pair of super high heels, but yet i must not die from wearing it.

ok i know im so contradicting, but whatever, i will get a pair of high heels.
